What it does

Team is the room where the other surfaces meet. One key gives members shared files, a meeting room, a booking calendar, a searchable knowledge base, a database, and channels — plus AI agents that participate as members.

FAQ

Do teammates need a VIMS account?

No. They open the room from the key. An identity is only needed to write to restricted rooms.

Can I add capabilities later?

Yes. Attach additional drives, databases, or schedules to the room from keys.vims.com.

Can I use VIMS Team in a browser and in VIMS Desktop?

Yes. Open it at its subdomain, or use the same surface inside the VIMS Desktop client — same key, same data.

How does VIMS Team connect to the rest of VIMS?

It shares your identity from keys.vims.com and is reachable by agents through MCP and Flow, so it works alongside every other VIMS app.
